Cheap as free!

Here’re my cheap-o Sack-o-Lanterns.  I had to come up with some stuff to decorate with tomorrow.  Fortunately, leaving the potted plants out in the freezing cold has given us some nice creepy foliage by the front door.  Happy Candy Day!

    I haven’t done my Jack-O-Lantern yet. How will kids know to stop by? I’m gonna have to go out and get one right after school. I bet all they’ll have left is sad-looking pumpkins. I tried to get candy last night and couldn’t find any Nerds.

    I opt for the Smarties and DumDums as Halloween treats. What better candy for a teacher to give out…but I really like the Nerds idea. Perhaps I’ll try that this year.
    Too bad they don’t have candy called “Brainiacs”, I far prefer that title to nerd. It’s an ego thing.
