Presenting…..the niece/nephew!

February 4, 2009

Lauren

Mark is here!  Lloyd was a trooper and cleaned up the guest room, so Mark isn’t in danger of crashing into any piles of garbage.  We’ve had a good evening visiting and comparing electronic gadgets, and best of all – talking about the new niece or nephew that’s on the way!

Looks like the baby from 2001, eh?

The picture is tiny because I ONCE AGAIN left my camera at school and had to use the camera on the iMac.  That’s proud papa in the green t-shirt, and me in the v-neck.   The little one is due in June and is currently about as big as a newborn kitten, according to the very scientific measurements done by the ultrasound elves.  Rachel, hot mama, is a WARRIOR, as are ALL mothers!  Rachel, if you’re reading this, know that you are my hero – truly, the wind beneath my wings. You raise me up.…… so I can climb on mountains…….You raise me..   Ow.  Who just hit me?

    “Don’t have a kitten!” hehe…

Who was it that used to say that all the time? Maybe it was one of my Uncle Dick and Aunt Gloria’s kids?

Congrats on a new niecphew, Lauren! (Congrats to you, too, Mark!)

    WoooooHooooo!!! Congratulations!!!

Rachel, I hope you’re not barfing. Or even feeling like you should be barfing. But if you are, know that labor and delivery are NOTHING if you have an awful pregnancy. Cake, I tell you.

Mark, congratulations! And if Rachel is barfing or even feeling like she should be barfing, do anything for her that makes her happy. Anything.

Trust me. I know these things.
