We forgot to put new big cups in the car before this morning’s grocery run, so we couldn’t get Lloyd’s Icees on the way home. He was sad, but then I reminded him he could make Snow Icees. He perked up, then he was mad because he realized he could have had Snow Icees every day that he was home last week. (That boy is one big bundle of emotion, I tell you.)
“So what’s a Snow Icee?” I hear you ask. (I don’t really hear you -my telepathic powers are nowhere near that strong yet.) Well, a Snow Icee is Lloyd’s little invention, different from his previous Icee experiment.
Step one: Find some clean snow. Fresh snow is best, but you can dig down in the back of the truck a couple of inches and that should be some good stuff.

Step two: Fill your cup full of snow, add 1/2 can of pop, then stir. Keep adding snow and pop until out of pop. Watch your ratios, kids.

Step last: Drink. Mmmmm… a frozen wonder from your own backyard.

Avoid the yellow snow!
The yellow snow is good for my Mt. Dew flavored Icees.
Dang it…how early do you have to get up to get your thought out there 1st?
Using the yellow snow makes the drink completely free!
*gasp* I don’t know why I have never thought of this before! Icees all around! (We’re totally making these after preschool and lunch today…)
Heh…that’s what we call here in MD…A Snowball.

Compliments from Mr. Royuk
…of…not from…(Sheesh!)
Just how long is Lloyd’s longest curl when it’s uncurled? Anyone care to take a guess? I’m going with 7 inches.
Lets see if there are any more bets, I mean guesses, before I reveal the length.
I’m going with 4.75 inches.
I’ll say 5.0
: ))))))
