A baseball

This collection of fantasy baseball files was created by readers of the Fantasy Baseball Cafe Forums. It includes documents for preparing for a draft/auction and documents for running one.

If you have a document that has worked well for you and you want to offer it to others, please email it to me, and I'll add it to the list. Please include a brief description like the ones below and whether I can add your email address. If you've significantly modified a file that is already here, I'd like to include that as well.

The files presented here are free to download, use, and modify as you see fit, but they obviously come without any warranties. I've included the email address of the person who created each file if they have given permission to do so. Feel free to contact them if you have questions about their file or to thank them for it, but they might not be able to get back to you right away.

Lloyd Sommerer's Draftday Prep

Description: This is a spreadsheet to use when you prepare for your auction. I'm in a points league, and I don't want to do a lot of predicting of individual stats, so I look at points/at bat and points/inning. Then compute a dollar value by dividing the total available money by the points from each position. Once that's done, the dollars for each player at that position are divided.

J35J's Draftday Prep

Description: This spreadsheet is of the 2007 regular season stats with each position on its own worksheet. I have the ages for all the players. The position eligibility for each player (based on Yahoo). The minor league numbers for every young player who didn't reach 200ABs or 75IPs. Each player is linked to their ESPN player profile and/or their MILB.com player profile for easy access to more information, and more. I've also included, once again, my formulas for my ranking/projection system I use. Any and all of this information can be tweaked however you see fit.
